When I left my high-paying corporate job in 2021 to start a coaching business, I felt like I was riding an exciting, yet risky and challenging wave. The monthly paycheck was gone. The title I spent years working towards—gone. But I felt a strong calling toward something deep in my heart. So when you feel a call, you answer it. I went ALL IN with trust that it would work out. I still feel like I’m on that wave, but at the same time, I’ve never felt more grounded and at peace.

Breathwork was, and still is, a huge rock of support in maintaining this feeling. Even though I had been practicing meditation since 2012, breathwork opened up a whole new level of awareness. Not only did it give me clarity in complex problems, but it also cleared the negative energy that built up under the pressures of life and work. It resets me. It’s a fresh start. A renewal. I walk away ready to tackle challenges with focus, creativity, and calm.

The personal benefits were too profound to keep to myself. My purpose in starting my original business was to guide professionals who felt held back by confidence, uncertainty, fear, anxiety, stress, self-doubt, and overwhelm. While coaching is a powerful tool for overcoming these blockers and unlocking your potential, breathwork offers a different dimension of transformation beyond the cognitive. I trained as a breathwork facilitator to complement my mindset coaching business, combining the cognitive with the emotional, the physiological with the spiritual, and the mind with the body.

To explain the effects of this specific type of breathwork in words is impossible. To fully understand, you have to experience it, so I invite you to. If you resonate with this and are curious, that’s enough to take the step and book a session.

Contraindications to Breathwork

The physiological and psychological effects of breathwork can be risky for some individuals. Below is a list of medical and psychiatric contraindications. For safety reasons, it’s recommended that people with these conditions avoid breathwork sessions unless they receive medical approval. If you have questions about contraindications, please contact me. You will not be able to participate in this workshop if you have any of the following contraindications: Epilepsy, retinal detachment, glaucoma, uncontrolled high blood pressure Cardiovascular conditions (including previous myocardial infarction) Mental disorders (manic disorder, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, OCD, paranoia, psychotic episodes, depersonalization) Stroke, transient ischemic attacks (TIA), seizures, or other neurological conditions A family history of aneurysms Use of prescription anticoagulants Hospitalization for any psychiatric condition or emotional crisis within the past 10 years Osteoporosis or any physical injuries not fully healed Acute somatic and viral diseases, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD-II and COPD-III) Chronic diseases with symptoms of decompensation or terminal stages Individual intolerance to oxygen deficiency, cancer, impulse control disorders, pregnancy Additional Notes: Individuals with asthma should bring their inhaler. People under the influence of alcohol, psychedelics, drugs, or who have been fasting for more than 48 hours will not be accepted.
